“We recently needed to organize a move to Austin (from overseas), and needed a home in Austin. To make the move more difficult, we never lived in Austin (nor Texas) prior to this move, we did not know the area, and were (and still are) expecting a bay. This meant that travel was prohibitive. We could afford to spend only 10 days in Austin (to do house hunting), and would have to do all the other steps remotely, from overseas. We did search the properties online prior to our 10-day trip, so we came prepared to the best of our abilities, but still, it was not all that much preparation. Amber was our real estate (buyer’s) agent, recommended by a mutual friend. Amber obviously knew her job well. She prepared about 25 high-end listings for us to visit. After the first day of viewing, she gauged our needs/desires, and narrowed the list to 12. We saw the 12 properties with in the week we had in Austin, and made our choice(s). And this is where Amber, and her team, came to shine. We moved back overseas, and Amber went to work. She conducted all negotiations with the seller (knowing very well what a reasonable price would be), lined us up with a local banker to help with the mortgage, organized inspections, closing etc. On top of that, she helped us with numerous personal advice about how to organize our move, what schools to consider for our kids, and finally, offered to meet the movers to unload our stuff that we shipped from overseas (because we could not be in Austin for the event) – this went well beyond the call of her professional duty, and we are very grateful for the help. We were not going arrive in Austin for two months after the closing, but we felt that the property was waiting for us in great hands, Amber’s very capable hands.” – A. & S. Kavcic
