When it comes to neighborhoods in Lake Travis, I love all of them, but there are a few stand outs that you might not guess. Unless you’ve lived in the area for as long as I have, it’s hard to know at first glance that the Lake Travis area has a lot of eclectic neighborhoods and communities.

Hudson Bend Neighborhood

I absolutely love funky communities like Hudson Bend. Did you know there are amazing waterfront homes tucked away off the main street? The lake access is outstanding and there are many properties with lots of privacy and room to roam. There are
I sold a home on Forest Way that sat on a 1.973 acre lot that gently sloped to the main body of Lake Travis. The main house had two phenomenal master suites with panoramic lake and hill country views from the large deck over the courtyard. The guest quarters was so cute with a fun mixture of interior rustic touches that made it feel like Texas.
The home also had a fabulous summer kitchen and dining area with a pool and spa with firepits overlooking the garden  down to the boat house next to boat ramp. It sold for $1,250,000.

Spanish Oaks Neighborhood

Of course, you can’t talk about top neighborhoods without mentioning Spanish Oaks and its gorgeous amenities. It’s always a pleasure to buy or sell homes in Spanish Oaks, because they are just so beautiful.
I love a really well done Santa Barbara style home…white walls with dark espresso accents or a cozy farmhouse….outdoor living is so important to so many buyers, so I’m always keeping my eyes out for great backyard spaces.
One of my homes that’s currently for sale in Spanish Oaks is located on Paraiso Parkway ($1,799,000). This estate is very private with wooded greenbelt views. It features a multi-level main floor with living spaces with fireplaces and the master and guest suite.
The master boasts a wine/coffee bar and a spacious bath with dual walk-in closets. For the foodies or entertainers, the chef’s kitchen has double islands, upscale appliances a huge pantry and a wine cellar. Upstairs there’s a game room with a bar and small patio. The back of the home features a covered 2-story back patio leads to an incredible pool, spa, grill, fire pit and guest casita overlooking the private back yard.
Oh, Spanish Oaks! You’ve done it again.
