Who’s ready for the weekend? It’s so exciting to see all of our favorite Independence Day celebrations back in action this summer. We sure did miss all of this last summer. Ice on the Lake
Stop, collaborate and listen! Vanilla Ice will be doing a show at Emerald Point Bar & Grill on Lake Travis on Friday, July 2nd. Buy your ticket before they’re gone.

Catch the fireworks
A special 4th of July fireworks show will take place On Friday, July 2nd at 9:30 p.m. in the Rough Hollow/Highlands neighborhood off Tomichi Trail near Rough Hollow Elementary. Get more info here!

Lights over Lago
Lago Vista’s Freedom Festival 2021 will celebrate the independence holiday on Saturday, July 3rd with a full day of festivities. 5k, Parade and Festival in the park followed by fireworks. Get more info here!

Because everyone loves a parade
The Lakeway parade is back! This family-friendly event is a must-do if you want to kick-off your July 4th weekend in style. Floats, fun & candy for all! The parade will take place on Saturday, July 3rd at 8:30 a.m. and wind down Lakeway Drive from the Live Oak Golf Course to the Lakeway Activity Center. The theme this year is “America the Beautiful – A Symbol of Freedom.”

Independence Day at Hill Country Galleria

On Sunday, July 4th 4pm-10pm, you can celebrate our independence, TOGETHER, at the Hill Country Galleria! Enjoy shopping with art vendors spread out on the streets of the Hill Country Galleria, plus get here early to also shop the resident boutiques and merchants who call Hill Country Galleria home. They have a full line-up of live music taking place in the Central Plaza. Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the show from the grassy lawn. Entertainment includes: Fastball, Vallejo, The Deer, White Ghost Shivers, School of Rock & more. Plus, stick around until dark to enjoy a stellar firework show! Get more info here!

Splash like a mermaid
Another fun-filled day for families is happening on July 4th at the Lakeway Swim Center. The theme is “Mermaid Day,” so grab you tail and get moving! More info here!
